Fees and $BACKROOM

Every block and every deal pays $BACKROOM stakers.
| What | Amount | Paid in |
|---|---|---|
| Block, each side | 0.25% of what crosses | the market's quote (USDG or ETH) |
| Deal, taker | 0.25% of the price, on top | USDG or ETH |
| Deal, seller | 0.25% of the price, deducted | USDG or ETH |
| Bond, unrevealed order | 1 USDG or 0.0003 ETH | forfeited |
Where it goes
- 70% of fees and 100% of forfeited bonds go to the stakers' pot of each contract.
- 30% of fees go to the treasury.
The pot is forwarded to the $BACKROOM staking distributor with forwardStakers(), which anyone can call. Stakers are paid pro rata to their stake at the moment the income arrives, in USDG and in ETH, and claim both in one transaction. The distributor is deployed with $BACKROOM; until then the pot accumulates in the venue contracts and the stake page is not open. Once it is, staking lives at /stake.
Fee changes
The block fee can be changed by the owner through a 48-hour timelock, up to 0.5% per side. The deal fee is fixed in the escrow contract.
