What this is

Backroom is software: a website and two smart contracts on Robinhood Chain (DarkOTC and DealEscrow). The website reads the chain and prepares transactions that you sign in your own wallet. The operator of the website does not hold your funds, does not execute orders on your behalf and is not a broker, an exchange, a custodian or an investment adviser.

Your responsibility

  • You are responsible for your wallet, your keys, the transactions you sign and the tax and legal treatment of your trades where you live.
  • You must not use the service where it is prohibited, or if you are subject to sanctions.
  • An order committed from your browser depends on the preimage kept in that browser or handed over with reveal for me. If both are lost before the reveal window, the order cannot be revealed and its bond is forfeited.
  • A deal link lets whoever holds it fill the deal, unless you bound the deal to an address. Share it only with the party you mean.

Risks

Smart contracts can contain bugs; these have tests but no audit. Prices come from Uniswap v4 pools, which can be thin or move fast; the price guard voids batches that move too far but cannot remove market risk. Tokenized stocks are issued by third parties under their own terms. Pons coins are volatile and can lose all value. Transactions on a blockchain are final.

No affiliation

The names and logos of NVIDIA, Tesla, Apple, Microsoft, Meta, Alphabet, Amazon, SpaceX and State Street (SPDR) belong to their owners. They appear because tokenized shares of those companies trade on the venue. Backroom is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by them, by Robinhood, by Uniswap or by Pons.

Not investment advice

Nothing on this website is investment, financial, legal or tax advice. $BACKROOM is a utility token: staking it shares the venue's fees as described in the docs; it is not a share of any company.

Liability

The service is provided as is, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for losses arising from the use of the website or the contracts.

Changes

These terms can change; the date above shows the last version. Contracts deployed on chain do not change: a new version would be a new address, announced on the website.
